Have you tried to email them request for IIN & Case numbers? I was told that the email notification pass on from USCIS with G-1145 form. Yours is over a month from NOA2

I used the NVC online submission form to request info at that stage: https://secureforms.travel.state.gov/ask-nvc.php

Are there any June filers from Nebraska still waiting to be approved for NOA2?

I think we're almost close to getting ours--- it's been 226 days and counting since June 26, 2017 when the Nebraska office told us they received our form.

Hopefully it won't take much longer; waiting is so exhausting! :)

Helppp! So, I got married MARCH 2015 but then when I filed my taxes for 2015 I put Single because I was recently married then. And I haven't change my status on SSN as married that time. Now, I have to submit taxes form to NVC to petition my husband. I claimed married filing separately the following year. What do i do? Will there any red flags?

That's exactly what my husband did. He is doing his taxes as married filling separately since March 2017 (married in December 2016).

No red flags, now you just need to get the documents of the NVC checklist.

Make sure call NVC at least once a week. They received my case Jan 22nd, and totally forgot about assigning me a #. Just spoke with them and they forwarded my case to a supervisor cause it is pass due.

They told I should have had an invoice # since last week.

It is the same thing as me! They received my case on Jan 18, 18 and I called them today again and they said there is a request for a supervisor to rush the process and make sure I receive my Case Number and IIN fast because I should already have my Case Number and IIN. Urrrrgh! Patience! Patience! hahaha!

Yes I used the form to ask about my case number. I felt silly about calling all the time so I used that.

I am so tired already of the song and dance with NVC.  I thought they would be better than Nebraska.... but I guess not.

That's right! I'm tired too...this process is too stressful. They put a request to review my case by a supervisor but nothing yet. They told me that I already should have my info. I think I'm going to submit this form too.

Acidrain, which option did you put to request the information? I was reading and I didn't find one that matches to it.

Good luck to you!  I tried callling NVC and they are closed.  It shouldn't be this hard or take this long to give us a case number and invoice number, in my opinion.

Yes! I agree with you and sometimes I can't understand. There are some people that gets so fast and others not. There was a girl I read about and they said to her that she would have to wait up 2 weeks to receive then she called the next day and guess what? They gave to her...:o

I am sorry to hear your grief is continuing with NVC. I know you've had a rough time. This process is not for the faint hearted. Keep the faith you will get through this.

I chose "what is the status of my case" and asked if I had a case and invoice number. Usually NVC answered generically if my case was not in the system. Once it was they said the information would be coming shortly and then forwarded the information.

I was told the day before I got my case number I would have to wait up to 6 weeks for it. The truth is nobody at NVC knows when your case will be processed. Just keep inquiring until you get the information.

That's the frustrating part that others  get it so fast.  They tell people different stories and then you are given false hope.  I guess we should've learned by now we just have to wait and be  patient.  Call tomorrow if they don't respond to your email.
