until the USCIS app states sent to department of state hellbraska gets to pull at our nerves a little longer

I believe your case should be ready anytime now. I noticed most the average 3 weeks-1 month from NOA2 until the case is ready. Hang in there my friend! :)

Did anyone received their case number as yet from the date of January ?

No! My case was received by the NVC on Jan 18, 2018 and since last week I call them asking if my Case Number and IIN are available but they said not yet. Then yesterday I called and the operator said that there is something wrong because I should have already my Case Number and IIN and then she put a request on it for the supervisor to check that.

How many days it took for nvc to  receive your case?

I can't say for certain exactly when NVC received my case. It often does not show up in their system until they assign a case and invoice number. It took exactly 3 weeks from when my i130 was approved to when a case number was assigned. For my son it took about a month. Don't panic if you call NVC and they say they haven't received your file. It was funny because I was told by NVC I would have to wait up to 6 weeks. I called the very next day and got my case number. Either you are in their system or not. Fortunately at the NVC stage beneficiaries can call whenever they want. I used the online inquiry form when I didn't feel like calling.

Helppp! So, I got married MARCH 2015 but then when I filed my taxes for 2015 I put Single because I was recently married then. And I haven't change my status on SSN as married that time. Now, I have to submit taxes form to NVC to petition my husband. I claimed married filing separately the following year. What do i do? Will there any red flags?

Make sure call NVC at least once a week. They received my case Jan 22nd, and totally forgot about assigning me a #. Just spoke with them and they forwarded my case to a supervisor cause it is pass due.

They told I should have had an invoice # since last week.

How can they forget that!?!    My case was received on the 22nd too and I still don't have case number.  I called yesterday and they  said give it a few more day.  I called today and they  took down my basic info and asked when my case was mailed to them and my priority date and that I shouldn't worry.  I will call again tomorrow.

I know keep calling them. Doesn't make any sense.

Have you tried to email them request for IIN & Case numbers? I was told that the email notification pass on from USCIS with G-1145 form. Yours is over a month from NOA2
