that might depend on how quick they get it in the system, how quick they get you an invoice # and how soon you can submit the forms.

I can relate. In the USCIS tracker app, the 4 cases before mine and 3 after mine have already been approved. My case number is still "case received." :-(

Same here. The 2 after ours were sent rfe on the 25th and the one before us was sent to dos yesterday. Some more before and after ours are already approved.

You will probably hear something really soon. We are planning to call at the end at the next week. But I know it takes more than than just 1 before they receive it.

It was the same when I looked through the app last night. But my husband received the mail with the approval yesterday. Online our status is still Was received.

How long does it take for the NOA2 to come in the mail? And does it always come before the case status online gets updated?

I'm just wondering if our NOA2 is in the mail, we're on 259 days now and I too am losing my sanity lol.

Hi ASMS, Yes my file was sent to NVC on Nov 28, 2017 and on Dec 11 or Dec 12 they sent me my case # and Invoice #. I paid my fees of 120 & 325, then filed the DS260 and them mailed off documents and also waiting to see if I’m granted a expedite as I requested. 

I have a lawyer so it seems when u have a lawyer you receive your case # in abt 2 weeks, so right now all for me is moving along...For now I’m just waiting..
