Hi guys,

I need help with this,I have paid all my nvc fees and fill out form ds-260 last two weeks and my wife is done with all the supporting documents and her financial documents but the only delay we got now is our joint sponser which is her sister, she havent fill her 2017 tax yet..And we been waiting on her to do so..But I want to know if I can tell my wife to send nvc those documents she got, if i am gonna need a joint sponser which I know I need it..maybe they will ask me to bring it along on my interview day..by then my joint sponser is done giving us her information...please I need to know if that a good idea ?thanks to any advise

You should provide all documents at 1 time to NVC. The AOS forms is an important document to NVC as it shows if the petitioning spouse can support the other, so all AOS forms must be included in same pkg. Don’t risk getting a checklist form NVC

This is my opinion...

Never give advice unless you are 100 % correct..

Hey, don't send documents without that ,

You can use her 2016 tax return as most recent if that still has enough income to qualify for sponsor , and send most recent W-2 with it ,

You can take 2017 return to interview with you ,

They don't really start asking for 2017 until after mid April I think

Tell them you wanna speak with a supervisor there is no how they will wanna stay on the phone with you when they have alot of people calling at the same time. When you get to speak with a supervisor you can explain the situation to him/her

How long does it take for step 6 to be completed? They received my package on 03/05/18.

From what I understand NVC is back logged with several files, so put on your patience face and pray they move along quickly. 😀🙏
