That is one advantage to a spouse visa over K-1.

 

Like others said make sure you don't work. I am rather surprised that a hospital did not make sure you had legal status to work before hiring you..

Do the hospital know that you don't have the Employment Authorization Document or the GC right now?  Did they ever request you to bring your legal papers?  Did they even do a background check on you anything?
