I am a american citizen from USA florida I married a egyptian muslim in egypt in sept 2017 and we need to vacation in USA FOR my sons high school graduation. Which visa is best to apply for and where can I apply for the visa for my husband . Should i apply fpr a tourist visa or family member visa ? How long is this process as the graduation is may 23 2018 if anyone can advise on this matter I would greatly appreciate it I am lost. I also have not submitted my marriage contract to the USA egypt embassy as to a death in family. What is the fee to file my marriage contract with the usa embassy in egypt and do I need to make an appointmwnt to do this?

Family member (spousal) visa is for US citizens or US permanent residents who are living in the US that want to bring their spouse over to LIVE in the US.

 

 

From what you posted your only option is to apply for tourist visa.

 

 

If later you decide to apply for spousal visa be aware that it takes 12 -14 months for your spouse to get the visa.
