Couple questions I was wondering.

I was married to a Russian woman(Already in US, only did AOS), we separated in May of 2016, we didn't divorce until Oct of 2017 since there really was no rush to do it. I started talking to my Cambodian gf in May of 2017, so I was still married when we started talking and during our first meeting in Oct 2017. I was wondering if there would be any issues because of this?

Also we're meeting again in Feb of 2017, after that I'd like to start the K-1 Process. Should we have more than 2 meetings though? I also plan to come back to Cambodia for her interview since I've read it helps a lot if the petitioner is present at the interview.

I've spent some time in Cambodia and looked into the visa rules, etc. It's a tough embassy b/c of fraud, sex trafficking, etc. It looks like you don't have a big age difference - that's good. Be at the interview - very important. Be prepared for a rough interview, but you're probably OK. Good luck. Cambodian people are awesome - love the country and culture.

I was still technically married for 2 years while my now Husband and I were dating . I had been seperated but the divorce was difficult. Divorces take time and immigration know that . As long as you are divorced and free to marry when you apply for K1 you will be fine .

I'm 35 and she's 24, so not the huge age difference they're use to seeing lol. It really is a beautiful country, I loved it there. If I didn't have work and my son I'd stay longer.
