AWOL does it affect my pending EB3 application and processing

I am planning to resign with my current hospital in the Philippines. They wont allow me to resign without a 30 day notice.

If i resigned without a 30 day notice its considered as AWOL.

I am not planning to declare in my DS260 form and other applications the name of my current hospital.

Will it affect my pending EB3 application and future employments in America?

you do need to include employment as you will need to prove history (at least 2 years of professional work) and the degree you received for this special visa

Why would you want to quit your job before getting your visa approved?  Maybe I am missing something here but it does not make sense.

My experience is already enough without this current hospital i am working.

Will it affect my pending visa interview if i do not include/declare that i have worked for 1 month and AWOL in this hosp?

There are some details missing from your original post and we can assume that you have an employer in the US that has expressed an interest in hiring you?  And we can also assume you have passed the NCLEX?

In healthcare, we never want to 'burn a bridge' and leave a place in a manner that we cannot go back to, However, visa timing may not coincide with the timing of your 30 day notice at your current facility - and NO, this will not affect your US employers outlook on you if you do not honor the 30 day notice rule - Nor the consul.  THey don't care if you follow your facilities 30 day rule.  Here in the US, it is acceptable to give 2 weeks notice prior to leaving a job.

Just over 2 weeks ago, a similar conversation was here on VJ.  The OP stated she would help anyone in a similar circumstance, so reach out to her for more specific detailed help.

Best of luck to you :D

Are you in the Military, AWOL is a Military term.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

You don't need to declare that you didn't follow the 30 day rule ("AWOL") for that hospital. Not abiding by the rule won't affect your visa at all.

You must declare the job on the DS-260. Failure to do so would be a misrepresentation and may affect your visa.

If you get the visa and resign to your job effective immediately, the hospital cannot do anything to you. Also, once you get your visa, you do not have to go to the US immediately. You could wait a month to prepare everything and in the meantime, give your notice, and keep working. You could also use holidays to cover for part of the 30 days.

I would not resign. I am pretty risk averse so I'd rather have a job until I have secured the visa, etc.
