Administrative process after interview approv

Hello can any one help me plz do reply it will be great help for us ..

 

I am pakistani citizen living in australia on student visa .. my wife us citizen applied for me in june 2016 and after waiting and going through all process we were done with our interview on 1st august. Interview went awesome my was also with me at the time of interview and officer said ur case is approved and u wil recv. Ur passport in 2 weeks

. After waiting several weeks it went on admin process.. yes i have read and studied everything about admin process. So i am wondering what is the maximum time people have been hold up on admin process any idea ? What we can do to get out of it .. ? Last case was updated after my birthday in oct.. anyone can help or giv3 good suggestion ?

The administrative process will take as long as it takes. There is no real timeline. Being of Pakistani descent the will be looking at records from that country and how willing the county is in assisting in that endeavor will play a part in it. There is nothing that you can do to hurry it up. You just have to wait it out . It vould be days weeks months or years. It all depends.

Maximum time? None - it will end when they are ready to make a decision. AP usually takes days or weeks, but can take months or years. With Pakistan, it does tend to be the latter (months), but certainly not always.

 

There's nothing to do to get out of it. Just keep in contact with the embassy every couple weeks and see if there's any progress or anything they're waiting on.

Abby u said ur wife went to interview with you ? 

 

Also any red flags in your case ? Did they keep your passport ? 

 

Did they gave u form ds 5535 ?

No red flags at all co was normal he said ur case is ok to go its in process normally it will take 1 day to clear and u will get ur passport within 2 weeks .. yes they kept my passport with them ..

Thanks yeah .. tht my attorney said to be as well but .. what we can do still waiting :*(
