Well that didn't look like an event. Looked like a video.

I'd say there are few events requiring more dignity and respect than one that honours our veterans. I think most people here should agree with that, given the strong opinions about needing to do more for veterans, and not disrespecting them.

Also - the number of times Obama insulted someone during a non-political event is likely LESS than the number of times Trump DOESN'T  insult someone at a non-political event.

Comparing the two only further highlights how inappropriate Trump is. It doesn't help him at all.

It's a video of an event ...🤤

Oh NB...if you want to post something you should at least read/watch it.

It wasn't an event. It was Obama speaking to a camera as a video. He wasn't in public. That is quite obvious if you watch the first 3 seconds of the video.

Also I've now watched it with audio - His "jab" is:

"In a season of intense politics, lets take this opportunity to come together under one flag"

That is honestly the closest I can find in the video to a "jab". How is that even a "jab" or an insult to Trump? That is just saying that we should all be unified in our support of our athletes. Please watch the video yourself and identify the "jab" for me.

Please stay on topic.

We are on topic. The topic is doing more for our veterans. Posting a video of a prior President speaking about Olympic athletes isn't about veterans. THAT is the post that was off topic.

It is perfectly ON TOPIC to talk about how Trump speaks at an event honoring veterans. The very foundation of "doing more" for veterans, in my opinion, would be showing them respect.

This topic is about Veterans.  If you came here to spill your drivel about anything NOT related to Veterans, please take your BS to another thread.  Not one of you MDL posters have said anything about the OP.  Cease and desist, please.

IDWAF you are way off base.

Trump's speech at a Native American VETERAN event is completely on topic.

A video if Obama talking about athletes is off topic.

Do you even know what this thread is about?
