You can check processing times here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do . Are you a US citizen? Or are you a resident? As of September 30th, the California Service Center was processing applications for the spouses of US permanent residents that were submitted on August 23rd, so it's taking about 12 months in those cases. Not sure how long it's taking them for spouses of US citizens but should be a few months less than that, maybe around 8.

DCF Mexico

06/04/2017: Married

06/24/2017: Mailed I-130

06/27/2017: NOA1 (technically a RFE as we were missing beneficiary ID)

07/06/2017: NOA2

07/12/2017: Case assigned by Juarez embassy

07/17/2017: Packet 3 received

08/15/2017: Interview/Approval!

08/22/2017: Visa received via DHL

09/03/2017: POE

09/16/2017: Permanent Resident Card received

Total days from NOA1 to approval: 49

I just found this link for California, there is a phone number you can call and see. It can be a starting point.

SImce you are an LPR and not a USC, your wife must wait for a visa number to become available. At the moment, visa numbers are only available for people who filed at the end of 2015 so it'll be a few months yet before yours can proceed. So there is no rush for USCIS to approve the I-130. Even if they approved it tomorrow, the NVC can't do anything with it until the PD is current. So whether you wait at California or NVC, it makes no difference. You still have to wait.

If you obtained your LPR status through marriage then you have to be an LPR for 5 years before you can proceed. That may or may not apply to you.

*~*~*moved from "IR-1/CR-1 spouse visa" to "bringing family members of LPRs"*~*~*

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

So according to that link I posted, I-130s for the spouses of legal permanent residents are taking about 13 months at the California Service Center. Going by that yours should hopefully be processed by February or early March.
