EAD/AP approved but no card

Hello Vjers,  

 

My EAD and AP got approved the 7th of November,  I had my approval letters in few days after the online update but until now I haven't received any update (neither online or in the mail?)  for the actual Combo card. 

 

I have seen a lot of people got approved after me online and their status changed days after to "new card was mailed to me" After approval ,  WHY NOT MINE IS THE SAME?  

 

Is it bad luck? 

 

What can I do?  

 

I really need help : (

My pd is the 18th of August, 

 

My husband called them but the lady was rude to him she was basically annoyed why he's calling and still not  30 days of approval

You can't trust the online case status, sometimes it doesn't update until several weeks or months later, sometimes it never updates at all.

 

It has only been 10 days since the approval, your card could've been sent a few days ago for all you know. Give it 30 days from the approval date to see if the card shows up. If not you need to contact USCIS either by phone or by sending in a SR about the missing card.

 

Keep checking your MyUSPS account to see if the tracking for your card shows up, that way you'll know when it's on it's way.

They won't be of help until after 30 days or so have passed. Wait some more. I'm sure it will turn up in your mailbox very soon.

05/24/2017 Entered the US on a J1 visa

10/10/2017 We got married!

10/27/2017 AOS Package sent via USPS - Chicago Lockbox

10/30/2017 Package delivered 

10/31/2017 Priority Date

11/07/2017 Received email and text notifications about all 4 forms

11/14/2017 Received hard copies of all 4 NOAs

11/21/2017 Received biometrics appointment notice scheduled for 11/29

12/15/2017 Interview notice - interview is scheduled for January 19th! Holy #$%^ that's less than 3 months from PD!

01/02/2018 EAD + AP approved

01/16/2018 Combo card delivered

01/19/2018 Interview - recommended for approval

01/22/2018 New card is being produced :dance:
