thank you for the reply

so that means i have to Adjust my status and apply for EAD and then I can work

so the social security card that I got, do I have to change it later on when will get a EAD? or I continue using the number given to me ?

I read on a post that social security administration give three type of SSN so that is why I ask

thank you

If you apply for EAD (i765) with your adjustment, you will have the work authorization within 4 months or so. With that and your restricted SS card (with the statement) you are allowed to work until your GC is approved. With the GC you then go and get a new SS card that won't have that statement. Once you have your GC you will no longer need the EAD.

It will always be the same number.
