I would be more concerned with the cytotoxity of glyphosate than the genotoxicity. It's bad for people regardless of whether it causes cancer or not, and the fact that the average person off the street would have measurable levels of glyphosate in their blood is not a good thing.

As far as cancer causing, glyphosate has been in use since 1974, which is 43 years if my math is correct. The average age of onset of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is 67 years. AML is uncommon before the age of 45 even in people with known risk factors. The jury is likely still out on this. US study aside, several studies in the EU and one by the WHO have linked glyphosate to cancer, deeming it a probable carcinogen. That's why it was banned in the EU.

Doesn't glyphosate degrade quickly?  How prevelant is it to have in your bloodstream?

The half life is several days, I believe. People are exposed to it everyday in the food we eat, and it's pretty much everywhere. It does build up to levels that are detectable by mass spectrometry
