I 797 Approval Notice (petition for alien relative)

Hello VJ,

 

My wife the petitioner applied form I 797 for her parents and younger sibling back in May 2017. We received three separate letters in the mail that approved the petition. My wife is a US citizen.

 

The letters state that the petition has been sent to the National Visa Center(NVC). My question is, what can we expect next?

 

Any actions that we should expect to take next and how long does this process take?

So, what is the normal turnaround time for her parents to be granted visas? 

 

What can we expect now until the NVC processes the petition?
