Bill Clinton should have resigned over Monica Lewinsky affair, Democratic senator says

Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand says that, if Bill Clinton’s sex scandal were to occur in modern times, it would be appropriate for him to have resigned from his position.

Ms Gillibrand made the statement during an interview with the New York Times, where she was discussing recent allegations that Senator Al Franken groped and forcibly kissed a radio host in 2006. Mr Franken has apologized for his actions, and urged an ethics probe into his behaviour.

“Yes, I think that is the appropriate response,” Ms Gillibrand said after a long pause when asked directly if Mr Clinton should have resigned after his inappropriate relationship with a White House intern was discovered two decades ago.

I have to admit I am intrigued by all of this . I find it odd the way it cycles so quickly out of the news. It seems like the multitude of women coming out against Moore is damning , however I wonder if this is a new political tactic. The night the Hillary DNC  scandal broke, several  women lined up and made allegations against Trump and then quickly faded into the night. It's almost if the Franken thing was return fire against Moore. Moore has called the year book fake and demanded its release. They are refusing to release it, which seems odd.

 

I do think there are degrees of sexual misconduct, obviously what Moore was alleged to have done is way way beyond the limits. I do think upon reflection on Franken's misdeeds, while sophomoric and crossing a line, I dont think it's enough for him to resign or makes him some monster.  

I just try to keep it in the Middle of the road and honest.

In other relevant news: chunky highlights and rail thin eyebrows are out, and MC Hammer filed for bankruptcy.

 

 

PS: Wouldn't this mean that Trump would have to resign following his scandals, or is the fact that he hasn't been properly caught and continues to deny it, enough for him to stay in office?

There are, but they keep getting ''settled'' for money or swept under the rug. From the 80's to the 2010's: 

 

Jessica Leeds, Kristin Anderson, Cathy Heller, Temple Taggart McDowell, Karena Virginia, Mindy McGillivray, Rachel Crooks, Natasha Stoynoff, Jessica Drake, Ninni Laaksonen, Cassandra Searles, also:
