Hi All

I am planning to file AOS/EAD/AP.  My Fiancee coming to US on a K-1 Visa this year.

I saw a old post from year 2014 saying that NO supporting documents are needed when filing I-131 (Application for Travel Document) together with I-485 (Adjustment of Status) and I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization).

Is this still true now?

Or do I still need to provide the following supporting documents as follows even thought I already included it for the I-485 applications?

-       (2) Passport style photos

-       Form G-1145 – e-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance

-       Form I-131 – Application for Travel Document (Advance Parole)

-       I-94 – Arrival/Departure record

-       Vietnam Passport biographic page

-       K1 visa & USA Entry stamp

-       Certified Marriage certificate

-       I-797 – Notice of Approval for I-129F Petition (NOA2)

Thanks in advance.

You will need to provide the documents already included in i485.

Except for G1145, USA entry stamp, and marriage certificate.

That's almost what I sent for my EAD and AP and I had no issues.

-Two passport photos

-Form G-1145

-Form I-131

-I-94

-Photo copy of passport bio page

-Photo copy of entry stamp that matches the i-94

-Photo copy of the K-1 visa

-Photo copy of the certified marriage certificate (I did this only to prove name change, just to be on the safe side)

Some of these are not required but I'm the kind of person that rather sends a couple of things too many than too few. No reason not to, but don't overdo it either.

K-1: 12-22-2015 - 09-07-2016

AP: 12-20-2016 - 04-07-2017

EAD: 01-18-2017 - 05-30-2017

AOS: 12-20-2016 - 07-26-2017

ROC: 04-22-2019 - 04-22-2020
