I entered into what I thought was a good faith marriage with a girl I actually loved. I thought we would be living together when she came here; but the moment she arrived she moved in with her sister.

She now wants me to lie during our AoS interview to say that she does live with me.

I've only hung out with her a handful of times in the past 10 months which in itself is upsetting. She has made it clear that she will never live with me. She's totally in this for the G/C alone.

It's crazy how quickly she changed after stepping foot on US soil.

Any advice on what to do?

Man I few so bad for you and I certainly have few things to say but I don’t think how invasive that would be so I will stick with what I think is the move for you now. After she entered US you both have 90 to get married otherwise her K1 is automatically canceled and she would have to go back to her country.

So so that is pretty straight forward....don’t marry her and her US stay will end in 90 days.

good luck man.

I assumed since he is talking about the AoS they are already married. If not though definitely do not marry her.

Go to the interview and tell them the truth. Your problem will work itself out from there.

I second what you said here as well.

BTW where in NC are you from?

I have made up my mind there is no way in hell i'm going to lie about her living with me.

Any guesses on what will happen with the interview if i point that out?

She has repeatedly said "I can say it, you don't have to! it's my lie!" but if i'm there under oath I think not pointing it out is also lying.

What happens if I don't show up?

I'm in New York. Syracuse area.

You don't show, I believe it's game over. But do everyone else who's waiting for an interview the favor of withdrawing your affidavit. That will result in her interview slot being freed up for someone else who might actually deserve their green card.

K-1 from Haiti - NOA1: 5/27/2014; NOA2: 7/8 USCIS never updated to say that it was sent to the NVC (just in case you're as concerned about your status not updating as I was about mine)
NVC Case Number Received: 7/31; Left NVC: 8/1 - tracked via DHL website; CEAC Status - Ready: 8/7; Packet 3 Received: 9/5 - Beneficiary received packet / Medical Completed: 9/19;
DS-160 Submitted: 9/22 - (CEAC date updated); Packet 3 Submitted: 9/26; Packet 4 Received: 10/24; Interview Date: 11/6 @ 7 am Interview Result: Approved!
CEAC Status Issued: 11/10; USTraveldocs.com finally acknowledged Fiance's passport actually in their system: 11/20; Passport Received: 11/21;

POE: 11/23/2014; Wedding: 2/14/2015

Big town of Tarboro. It's on Highway 64 about an hour east of Raleigh if you've never heard of it.

Mod hat off

Since you said your wife moved in with her sister. Why did you even marry? Second do not wait for an interview. Many times the interview for K1's is waived.

Excellent point, that would be no bueno.

Lol that made me laugh, sorry not trying to be mean. Yeah I have heard of it my brother spent a little bit of time over there with the state. I am from Greensboro myself, living in Los Angeles now, but moving to Sanford next month.

Do not wait for an interview. Many times the interview for K1's is waived, pull the AOS now.

The way he made it sound they already had the date for interview lined up.

If they don't have a date yet then pull the affidavit and let them know what's going on.

You will be under oath if you go and if you don't go then she will be denied. Have y'all gotten married yet?
