The shape wasn't my problem! Its the stodgy/stickiness/heaviness/chewiness of it.

Oh man, it's awesome. So yummy.

Ever had the burgers at Fuddrucker's? Those buns kick a$$ but my (British) husband thought they were disgusting. It took me a while to get used to bread over here too. Now that I'm used to British bread, American bread tastes funny to me. So does American diet coke.

Yes I've been to Buttf-ckers*, I don't remember their buns being bad or good though.

American bread tastes funny to me too, and I've never gotten used to it! :)

*Sorry - I couldn't resist this gag from the film "Idiocracy".

I had Fuddrucker's two weeks ago and it was mmmmmmmmmmmm.

As far as the bread thing...D & I both feel that American bread is nowt but air & the stodgy bread is over there. But as I said, I love me som stodgy bread, so the bread here tastes like #######. Cept for sourdough, but Pep Farms SD bread is 200 cals a slice! :/

Ooh, they're so fluffy. Mmmmm. Innuendo burgers.

A lot of American food tastes funny to me now, and I must confess something...every time I've been back, I've gotten sick off the food. I'd never seen poo quite THAT shade of yellow.

TMI, I know.

The junk food...all of it...has kind of a plastic-y flavor to it and a weird chemical aftertaste that it just doesn't have here. Here, it's just VERY sweet and somewhat gooey. In America I really got the feeling I was eating chemicals. That's why I, unlike many people, was thinner in America than I am here.   I didn't eat beef very often in America either; I was put off by all the hormones and antibiotics.
