I posted this article a few days ago with the title "White XXXXXX claims to be Filipino. Is this white privilege?" And the thread magically disappeared. Go figure.  But my other thread in the Filipino forum remained with an edited title.  I might be banned for a few days for just pointing this out lol

I would guess your thread disappeared because you posted duplicate threads. That's what usually happens. It's not really magic.

Using that logic this thread is a duplicate and should magically disappear

Yep, it might. Usually they get combined if there are posts in both threads.

The filipino  thread needs to merge into ours.  This has the Transgender element which is def a CEHEST domain issue.  Just sayin.

I thought we can self identify as and when we choose?

To say otherwise is racist.

Now I'm craving banana roti's, used to get those ( no crickets for me) late at night. Eating them at the beach under full moonlight and then heading to the hotel in a tuk tuk.

Never had a banana Roti, dreaming if Mango and Sticky rice with sweet coconut poured over where the rice is still warm. May is the best for Thai Mango.

You haven't?? Omg, you missed out of something really good. Whenever you go there you should try it, they have them in different flavors but banana is my favorite. The sticky rice and mango is delicious too.

I also miss Tom Yam Kung, haven't found a place yet here in Florida where they make it like they do in Thailand.

Have you ever had banana pancakes?  They seem to be a Filipino thing and they are delicious.

Said person in the article isn't a Filipino. Proof: There is no such thing as a tuk tuk in Philippines.

Some people are simply idiots needing their 5 minutes of fame.

Who needs tuk tuk's?  You'll get no better ride than the one you will have on a trike or Jeepney in the PI!
