For someone who supposedly has nothing to hide, Jared Kushner is certainly not acting like it. According to a new The Washington Post story out Thursday, Kushner reportedly failed to turn over necessary information to Congress, and this time it's a doozy. The Senate Judiciary Committee claims that Kushner has withheld a series of "September 2016 email communications to Mr. Kushner concerning WikiLeaks" that he in turn forwarded to another Trump campaign official.

Senators Feinstein and Grassley wrote to Kushner's lawyer that they know Kushner is withholding messages because other witnesses have already turned over their copies, and the signs kinda point to Donald Trump Jr. hamstringing his brother-in-law. We know Trump Jr. already turned over his own correspondence with WikiLeaks, and that Kushner was one of the people he alerted as soon as he got the first message.

And it doesn't stop with WikiLeaks. Kushner's team has yet to turn over emails involving Mike Flynn and are reportedly trying to withhold Kushner's security clearance forms, claiming they're confidential (the Judiciary Committee says they aren't). And, per the Post:

Committee leaders said Kushner also withheld from the committee “documents concerning a ‘Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite’ ” that he had forwarded to other campaign officials. And they said Kushner had been made privy to “communications with Sergei Millian” — a Belarusan American businessman who claims close ties to the Trumps and was the source of salacious details in a dossier about the president’s 2013 trip to Moscow — but failed to turn those records over to investigators.

So this is like the greatest hits of Trump campaign sketchiness, right down to the alleged pee tape and even a throwback to that time Kushner tried to set up a back channel with Russia. Even if nothing hard turns up as far as collusion with Russia goes, Kushner's constant failure to be transparent is alarming

Missing Documents

It appears that your search may have overlooked several documents. For example, you limited your production in response to our second request in a manner that eliminates communications about the individuals identified in that request.[1] If, as you suggest, Mr. Kushner was unaware of, for example, any attempts at Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, then presumably there would be few communications concerning many of the persons identified in our second request, and the corresponding burden of searching would be small.

In addition, there are several documents that are known to exist but were not included in your production. For example, other parties have produced September 2016 email communications to Mr. Kushner concerning WikiLeaks, which Mr. Kushner then forwarded to another campaign official. Such documents should have been produced in response to the third request but were not. Likewise, other parties have produced documents concerning a “Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite” which Mr. Kushner also forwarded. And still others have produced communications with Sergei Millian, copied to Mr. Kushner. Again, these do not appear in Mr. Kushner’s production despite being responsive to the second request. You also have not produced any phone records that we presume exist and would relate to Mr. Kushner’s communications regarding several requests.

You also raised concerns that certain documents might implicate the President’s Executive Privilege and declined to produce those documents. We ask that you work with White House counsel to resolve any questions of privilege so that you can produce the documents that have been requested or provide a privilege log that describes the documents over which the President is asserting executive privilege.

Why hasn't this guy not only had his security clearance revoked but not even been fired from his position at the White House? He's lied numerous times to the FBI on his forms and withheld important information?

President Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, failed to disclose what lawmakers called a "Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite" involving a banker who has been accused of links to Russian organized crime, three sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.

An email chain described Aleksander Torshin, a former senator and deputy head of Russia's central bank who is close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, as wanting Trump to attend an event on the sidelines of a National Rifle Association convention in Louisville, Kentucky, in May 2016, the sources said. The email also suggests Torshin was seeking to meet with a high-level Trump campaign official during the convention, and that he may have had a message for Trump from Putin, the sources said.
