He is accused of child molestation . Yes I think he is guilty. 

I believe at least one was accusing him of rape, but I could be wrong. You're right not all were. I just used one illegal sexual act in my examples instead of listing everything he is accused of out.

2. For him not to stand down ALL should be false.

 

The more accusations there are, the harder for the second to be true and the easier for the first.

As I said, after one true rape accusations, does it really matter even if all the other 8 were lies? The guy would still be a rapist.

Of course it matters.  Just not for the one crime committed (rape, as you are alleging).  

 

The question then becomes... who is paying those 8 others to make false accusations, and why?

How can you ask Moore to stand down from elected office, when thus far we only have allegations of sexual misconduct?  Didn’t we as a country allow Clinton to stay in office with at two proven sexual harrassment charges against him?

We are not convicting this man (I am being generous) of a crime. There will be no justice for what this pos did to these underage girls.  These woman carried this burden all of their life.

 

So many women, with no personal gain, and no connection to each other, have come forward and told similar stories of molestation and stalking. I sat on a jury where a man was convicted of a felony for sexually touching a 17 year old victim and the statements and interviews I have seen would put this sex offender in prison with a lot less deliberation.

 

 

His behavior was so well known in the community, he was banned from the local shopping mall. So if he is  prohibited from going to a shopping mall, why can't we ban him from the Senate? 

And really, what is the upside for Alabama for sending him to the Senate with this ethical cloud?

He quoted someone discussing Moore. It was incredibly obvious he was also discussing Moore. To claim ignorance on that fact would be an insult to your own intelligence.

I've seen this repeated multiple times here and still haven't seen any evidence to back it up.  There are multiple news reports quoting the managers of the mall at that point in time saying they have no recollection of a ban.

In this article they write:

Now the description there makes it sound clearly inappropriate (my first response is just "eww" when imagining Franken coming at you for a sloppy kiss). However I do find it interesting the way they wrote it. They said that he proposed rehearsing the kiss scene, and that Tweeden "said she eventually agreed to it". Of course that's not clear if she meant agreed to practice the scene, or practice the actual kiss. 

 

Is that how it is written elsewhere? I haven't listened to her in interviews directly to see how she puts it. 

She was offended by it at the time.  That is all that matters.  It was a sexual assault.

If he only raped 1 out of 9 women would you give him a pass? I guess maybe you figure 1 out of 9 "ain't bad".

 

I'd say it only takes one true case to mean he should step down. I don't need all 9 to be true. He molested, assault or raped one girl and that's enough for me.

 

Maybe our standards are different though.

If he is such a serial molester/predator/rapist, why aren't there any accusation that haven't had the statute of limitations expire?  Molesters don't just stop molesting.  Sexual predators don't just stop preying.  Rapist don't just stop raping.  It seems very odd.
