Serbia/Belgrade Embassy: police and court certificate – concerned about purpose of issuance

Hi everyone!

I am collecting documentation to be prepared when Embassy contacts me and I would appreciate if you could share your experience with me on the following because I am a little bit worried:

1) on the police and the court certificate (both records are clean) it has been written that it may serve only for the employment purpose (additionally on the police certificate it has been stated that it cannot be used otherwise),

- although this is very common and standard quote in this type of certificates in my country, nevertheless I am worried whether this will be accepted because I don`t need those certificates for employment but for an Embassy interview,

2) how long it took before Belgrade Embassy contacted you and how by email you or via postal service?

- on October 26, NVC has emailed my fiancé letting him know they will forward our approved petition to Belgrade Embassy and that this process can take several weeks. Now, it has passed almost 4 weeks since that so I am wondering if that is a normal time procedure because I am still waiting for Embassy to contact me.

3) is there a special paper form used for vaccination record or GP just lists all vaccination I had received in my life, puts his signature and seal and that is all it takes?

Thank you, hvala lepo, regards, Milana.

I see your timeline is updated now - did you have any problems with the court certificate? How long did it take for the US Embassy in Belgrade to contact you to set up the appointment?
