It is not hopeless.. Wait for the notice.. it will tell you exactly why they made that decision. It could be something as simple as you having an active petition in the system or something as complicated as your husband not been eligible to be granted visa to enter the US (like been banned or his name appearing on a watchlist).

i find it interesting that you didn't get a NOIR. it could be that it came but you probably never received it or maybe the other reasons stated above.

Stay calm....Organize your evidence and wait for the letter. You should receive it within 3 to 7 days.

keep us posted on your case. Wait till you get the notice before speaking to a lawyer since doing so before it will not be as useful.

Good luck!

I really do appreciate all of your posts and the support of some. I am wondering what other evidence we could produce. I have made one visit to see him since his interview last May. I am planning another visit on spring break, unless he gets another interview. In that case, I will go and be with him then.

In answer to another poster, shortly after his interview, our status went to Refused. I think it cycled through AP for maybe a day or two. Obviously, they had their minds made up before his interview. FYI, I was separated from the K1 Moroccan off and on during our entire 2 marriage due to his verbal abuse and some other issues. He didn't want to sign divorce papers, so that took a while. I met my current husband after I had divorced. I met him on a site called Netlog. He was on there drumming up business for his travel agency, which is mostly done through the internet.Over the years, I have heard about many of the folks he met, and is still in touch with. He started doing tours when he was 18, so he has a long history of meeting people and doing tours with them.  I forgot to say that they did question him about meeting me on that site. He just said hi to me, and  we just talked travel and became friends. In fact, my friend and I talked about going there to do a Marco Polo route tour. Neither of us had any intention of getting married again.

We didn't meet in person for 2 years because we were just friends. When things got friendlier, I checked him out extensively to make sure he was telling me the truth. Everything he has told me has proven to be true. They asked him at his interview about the Netlog site, and why he only had a few "friends" on there, most of whom were women, some he had taken on tours over the years. I think they thought he was trolling for women, but really all I had was a copy of his profile. And that was when he was first on there. So we could not prove that they only talked travel.  I never kept chats or anything since I had no reason to. That site is long gone, so neither of us had proof that he was promoting his travel business. Neither of us had intentions of ever marrying again, but there is no other way to be together. I only had that one profile picture of him and his "friends", and it was when he first got on there. I wish now I had never included it in our evidence, as that info was 5 years old by the time we applied for the CR1.

Anyway, I plan on getting letters of support from family and friends. I don't know what else we can do to prove that we are "real" other than to keep going on with me visiting him and trying to spend time together. We have been married 2 years now. We are so compatible, and it's nice just spending time with each other.  We have seen each other in total stress situations, and our health has suffered. BUT, we are never going to give up. I'm sure my husband would be embarrassed that I have revealed this much of our personal business, but we have nothing to hide. I'm not ashamed of my past or the present...we have done nothing wrong or dishonest. In fact, I think he must be one of the few honest men left there in Pakistan(no offense to others), as he refuses all bribes, works two jobs, and takes great care of and educates his kids. I'm really proud of him!

Well. Everyone’s situation is different. He has the 5th marriage on the K1 does not mean his previous marriages were also on the immigration petition.

I also believe that if you have too many divorces, with or without obtaining a green card, is a red flag.

As I said, marriage is complicated. No one will know what will happen with the relationship on the next day. However, you gotta pay for what you owe in the past.

Yes, his previous marriages were all on the K1 visa as I stated.
