Iam having the exact and identical problem, iam a100 percent disabled vet for 14 years and my was told at interview I didn't make enough money when I get 53,000 in payments a year and 42000 is from VA I've been getting the run around for months about a joint sponsor and I found just one who made enough and that person was rejected I've asked them over and over why is my income is not counted they refuse to answer ( phillippines) I called a USattorney no answer I called uscis no answer I have no sponsor and we are stuck and not knowing what to do I've submitted every document I can think of and it's all the same RFE . It would seem.like a veteran would get some consideration being we fought foe our country but nothing! And they say thank you for your service yeah right!oh yeah I even.wrote the White House they acknowledged that they got it but after that nothing! Please let me know if you any success with your petition cause I just don't know what to do

You need to get a benefits letter from VA stating what you are receiving, it is income and accepted.  I was down this road with USCIS.   USEM wanted the same.  Who ever is not allow the VA benefits needs to get his head re-aligned.

I gave them my recent award letter and waiting for response, but this is the second one I submitted an award letter when I first applied over two years ago

Two years ago?   You didn't submit a new one with AOS?   Each "event" requires all new documentation.

I didn't know that they never asked me to show proof so I assumed they had a letter already, thanks for that helpful advice, now I did send it again about a week ago and iam waiting for a response hopefully it gets approved thanks again

AOS is all about support evidence, that is the main purpose and why they ask for an I-864 .      Once USCIS has proper evidence of income all should be fine.   I did not submit tax returns for AOS, but had to provide a benefits letter and then USCIS wanted me to submit evidence as to why I did not complete a 1040 ..

You know I sent these letters to uscis two years ago they sent me this green letter saying something was approved but it wasn't a visa I've had this problem with the embassy in the phillippines

Two year ago?  Are you referring to when filing the Petition?   No financial evidence is required at that time, sending the benefits letter then was a waste of time/paper.

With the K-1 you will need to submit support evidence at USEM for the interview and then for AOS once in the USA and married.   Any time USCIS requests support evidence you have to submit new documentation.

Thank you for your service

Yes Air Force.  I was a SSgt.

I have a cool T-shirt  that says my fitness instructor is a Marine, with some very fun verbiage.   For sure not politically correct .. but ask me if I care.    Hall monitors here would probably delete my post if I put it on here.

My best friend was a Marine .. never made 19 .    I came home.. he didn't.

Sorry to hear that:unsure:. You know we love to chide on each other, but we still respect you zoomies. I had sone friends of mine who did make it back physically  but not mentally so its really sad.

Edit: I just read my post I did earlier and damn I did not reread what I wrote. I am a 100% Disabled Vet as well. Have you ever dealt with the VA in the Philippines?

I have a friend who's son is the later; he was in a mortar unit, he was there for Baghdad and again for Fallujah .   His LT. died in his arms during Fallujah ...    He struggles to this day.

I have many friends that are jarheads.... and I always remind them that I drank fresh milk and had real eggs for breakfast... call me all the names you like.

As always ~  Thank you for your service.

Nope haven't dealt with the VA in the Phils .. just know it is there.     I have been to St. Luke's and I was very impressed with the doctors there.
