Help: N400 employment history ?

my wife used her SSN to register  a small LLC consulting company a year ago. She has the EIN from IRS as well. but she is the single one in this firm and didnt hire anyone as it's basically working at home and on the computer to contact the clients.

My understanding is she is not counted as self-employed unless she earns salary income from the company's benefit,then she would file tax return and receive W2 form as well. Currently the company is at baby stage and has no benefit but kept spending our own money for basic business operation and early marketing in many aspects.

my questions are:

1, what should we put on the N400 form--School/employment ?  unemployment or self-employed.?  Should we disclose this small business as she is the owner.

2, in the 2016 tax return, we filed the joint-tax return, which input  the money we spend from our credit card/cash on her business (less than $1000) . She didnt pay herself salary from the company. ---Is she all good at this point in terms of the tax purpose. ?
