I appreciate your response. My husband is a us citizen and am due for an interview next month.meanwhile we included her to my case while my husband was an green card holder. But she was later asked to be filed for. While checking the time line we saw that there was no enough time.so we decided to file a tourist visa for her then later the i130

What is the status of your case?  You can delay the visa processing if you contact the embassy.  Your clock to enter the US starts ticking when you take the medical.  You can delay the medical and police certificate (yours) for months if you notify the embassy and explain your situation and the two of you can travel together.

Option 1: File for baby and ask for expedite

Option 2 (in case expedite is not approved): File for baby, enter US to receive green card. Apply for reentry permit. Wait in home country until baby has visa.

Option 3....which is what many people in this situation do, where is your case currently in processing, you can slow down processing of your own case to allow the petition for the baby to be approved and catch up to you by responding slower at NVC

are you already in the process of immigrant visa? Was your baby listed as your child in all documents? Your application documents. If the name of the child is listed, check online or ask if the baby is already included for to get you both the immigrant visa.

It is confusing about children, I was applying for K1 visa for my fiance and we only saw the baby's name included after the file went to his country and it wasn't saying there is visa, we just saw her name after her father name in CEAC, so we paid her visa fees, medical and all needed and she got K3 visa stumped in her passport. We didn't make an apart visa application for her, just listing her in her father application.

Check out your visa application, maybe it's the same

Your child got a K-2.

And a process for a K-2 is very different from a CR-2 so it will not be the case for this baby.

The way i understood OP's case is that OP was petitioned by the spouse when the spouse was LPR, hence OPs child got included in the same application, now that the petitioner is a citizen, the petition has changed its class and the child needs to have his/her own petition.

but OP might explain the timeline properly.

I was petitioned while my husband was Lpr for f2a category  in Feb 2016. I had our baby Feb 2017 we included her immediately. May 2017 hubby became citizen and my case was moved to nvc in may category upgraded to cr1.

we did and she came together with her father, K1 and K2 and it was in Lagos in December 2016.

The baby had in CEAC her own Number for to pay for her visa and my fiance got both visas the day of his interview

The USC is father of the baby?   If so, baby is an American citzen and there are steps needed to get US passport for the baby

ask that question as i don't have the answer on how to do it

That doesn't help as he can't pass on citizenship until the baby is an LPR.
