Hello all! Any info is welcomed... I am waiting for a CC on my husbands case. We have a final scan date of sept 19. So i called nvc today on our 8 week mark for review and the agent said that we have a scan date of nov 1st. We have not sent them anything since September. I asked her if she can tell me what this new info they recieved on nov 1st is she said she cannot until it is reviewed by an agent and that can take up to 11 weeks. At this point i want to cry. What should I do? Could it be that nov 1st is when the file was sent to review and she just isnt looking at the info correctly? Or is it possible that another persons info was scanned into my husbands file? Im lost. Idk what to do? Help please!

That is so unfortunate, did you send separate  IV - AOS packets?     Have you tried talking to a Supervisor

WE did our process a little different that what the norm is. We sent out IV packet (all supporting docs) as soon as we got our NVC number. So the last thing that they requested from us was my husbands birth certificate (which I know they lost because that was one of the first things we sent to them -_-) and that was sent to them and they confirmed with a scan date of sept 19th. That was the last thing that was sent.... I did call yesterday and asked to have a supervior review my case and see what this new scan date is. They said it can take up to 6 weeks for a supervisor review but that my scan date was still nov 1st until further notice.

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Mexico

That's what probably happened, they misplaced them or someone at nvc messed up due to separate packets. That's why they advice to send a single mail containing both IV and AOS.

November 1 was probably when they had all documents together.  I agree you should try to change your scan date to september
