I work 2 jobs and my primary job is for the community college district. I called human resources and combined with what they gave me as well as the letter my boss wrote I should be fine. Neither one of the forms mentions my hourly income as I am not paid on salary. I have all of the communications to attach if necessary. On the other hand, I work for Blockbuster video on the weekends. So I have called their human resources and they have been giving me the run around! What should I do in the event that they won't give me what I need?

Thanks!

Contact the consulate. Ask them what documentation is sufficient for the I-134. Mine only needed my 2006 tax return and an employment letter. Although, my employer legally couldn't give me an employment letter. So, I sent my employment agreement, 3 months worth of paystubs, 2006 tax return, and 3 years prior tax transcripts. I sent more than they requested and they accepted it. Check with them to be sure.

BTW...Your paystubs should show your hourly wage.

Thanks and yes my paystubs do. I just hate that they are unwilling to give me what I need! lol

I've read some posts where they couldn't get employment letters from their employers. So they have nothing else but tax returns, pay stubs and bank statements. You do what you can with what you have. ;)

I estimated my annual salary by multiplying my hourly rate by 2000 hours. That will give them a rough estimate. They will look at your adjusted gross income on your 2006 tax return and your paystub will verify your hourly rate.

Thanks, isn't that the truth! I will do with what I have, they certainly leave me with no choice!

Can I estimate as well? The reason I ask is that my hours per week flucuate between 32-40.

Can you figure out how much you make per week? Then take that number and multiply it by 52, which is the number of weeks in 1 year. That should give you an estimate of what your salary is per year.
