Hi On April 5th, I received a email notice from the USCIS that my I-129F petition has been approved and the case has been forwared to NVC. After waiting for three weeks without hearing from the NVC, I decided to give the NVC a call (603 334 0700) today. They told me that the case is under "administrative review". Does that mean that they think the case is suspicious ?

A little confusing. What happened to the K-1?

Our journey started in 2001 and it's still not over. It's been a rollercoaster ride all the way! Let me off - I wanna be sick!

don't worry too much about it. They told me the same thing.

We got our noa2 on March 28. I waited for a while and didn't hear anything from NVC.

I called and the lady told me we were on "administrative review"..she said it could last 1 to 2 months..then she proceded to say actually it takes 3 to 4 months....

NVC received our papers on April 16 and i got the letter yesterday ( April 23)

I think they just tell you these things so you won't call back for a while.....

04/09/2007: received the letter from USCIS that my I-129F petition has been approved and the case has been forwared to NVC

04/24/2007: called NVC and they told me that it is under "administrative review".

I checked the USCIS website and it shows that the I-129F priority date is still September 13.

At this point, is the priority date above relevant to the K-1 visa issurance anymore ?

I think NVC is doing this for everycase that is being tranferred to them from USCIS.

A friend of mine is going through the same situation. His I-129F was approved on 03/15/07 and then he got the letter from NVC dated 3/22/07 that they have received his case and they will send electronically to the consulate within a week. After two weeks, he emailed to consulate and they said they have not received it yet. When he contacted NVC, a representative told him that the case is pending for Administrative Approval and there is no time frame that how long it can be.

I-129F

09/22/06 - NOA1

12/27/06 - I-129F approved online!

01/02/07 - received NOA2 in mail

NVC:

01/04/07 - Letetr from NVC about the case# and sending electronically to Islamabad

Islamabad Embassy:

01/11/07 - Embassy sends out Packet 3.5/4.0 with the interview scheduled on Feb 06, 2007

2/06/07- Interview

APPROVED BUT ON AR/AP

05/14/2007 Called DOS, they said security check has been completed and an electronic message has been sent to consulate.

05/21/07- My wife has been asked to come to Emabssy and submit I-134 and tax return that embassy can do the final processing.

05/24/07- VISA FINALLY IN HAND, GETTING READY FOR FLY

06-03-07 Arrived to USA, POE JFK

EAD

6/5/07 Application for EAD

6/14/07 NOA1

7/3/07 Biometrics

AOS

7/21/07 packet sent

7/23/07 Packet received

08/22/07 Biometrics

There is no I-129F priority date. Do you mean the date listed by the service center as the oldest case they are still processing? This wouldn't have any impact on your petition if it has already been appoved.
