We sent in our RFE which USCIS received on November 9th of 2017. What else is there to expect? Is the next NOA the approval? If so how long should we expect to wait for a response? Is there anything i should prepare in advance to make everything run along as smoothly and as quickly as possible?

1) Depends on what is the RFE is about. If it something simple like forget to tick a box, it will take around a week. For more complicated matters, it will take around 2-3 weeks.

2) After they receive your RFE, if everything is good to go, they will issue a Notice of Approval (NOA2).

3) What you can do now is just wait. If you are the beneficiary, start to gather all documents needed (such as police certificate, translated birth certificate). You can start fill up the I-134 too and gather all the petitioner W2 and tax return.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not working with USCIS/NVC and never work with them. All my comment based on my own experience and what I read.

What was your RFE about? Some REF,s are easy to process while others take more time

Request for evidence of our relationship. We sent in letters more pictures and 2 other people sent letters as witnesses to our relationship.

Did both of you write a letter of intent to marry in 90 days? How did you 2 meet? Did you give her an engagement ring?

Sounds like you have everything. Did your parents wrote a letter for you yet? Or any close member of your family? Did you sent at least 15 pages of your continuing communication?

His brother and uncle wrote that they were present at our engagement ceremony but my parents didn't write a letter, no. Also we didn't send any thing of us communicating bc we both ended up breaking our phones and losing proof.

That it is the problem. You need her parents and yours parents letters if they are still alive. And now that you have new phone, send some communication proof

Our RFE was due to his one day in jail  or half day  for late pay of child support. The application for K1 ask about it  I provided proof of all being satisfied and him having no criminal history but the document I sent said he paid ALIMONY  instead of child support. So I got RFE to

prove he was never married and no criminal history. In the Dominican not an easy task but after he visited 3 courthouses he received a letter from the judge to prove non existence. Then also i had to write and notariz a letter stating the events of the arrest and the outcome since he had no criminal record of it in his country. Very difficult task. But all sent in awaiting my MOA2 notice. ( fingers crossed)  oh sent Certified to assure recieved
