NVC K1 visa hold up

Timeline

Any help would be appreciated!!

May 5th Noa1 , Noa2  oct 6th, NVC arrived oct 19 , we were given number , now we are stuck in AP for nearly 4 weeks.. 

Is this normal and how long should we be expected to be there?

Is that mean you already have your case number? There is nothing you can do for now, other than keep tracking it and keep follow up with them for any update. In the same time you can try to call the embassy too. Who's know the embassy might receive the case already.

Thank you so much for  info ! I'll call embassy , but NVC said again today it hasn't been sent to embassy yet ! So frustrating

I'm not really sure about NVC, however, if it's work like USCIS, they might answer you based on what they update in their system. That's why they keep saying that it is still under AP. You can call or email the embassy. Nothing hurt to try it!
