HELLO good people of MVJ.

thank you once again for all the help and guidance throughout the visa process.

my Wife's case has been closed at NVS and an interview has been scheduled at Islamabad embassy at 9:00pm dec 14th.

i have been reading different topics that dates back to 2014. just wanted to know if some one has had a recent encounter.

this is what is requested

"Gather documents required for the interview. You must bring to the interview the original versions

of all civil documents and certificates submitted to NVC. You may need to get updated financial

documents and police certificates."

You already submitted certain forms and documents to NVC. At your visa interview, you must give the consular officer the original version of each civil document you submitted plus one photocopy for each person applying for a visa. These original versions will be returned to you.

  •   The only form you do not need to bring to your interview is the Form DS-260 Application for an Immigrant Visa. Instead, print a copy of the receipt page from ceac.state.gov showing you submitted the form online.

  •   If a financial sponsor submitted an I-864 Affidavit of Support form, you must give the consular officer a signed version. It can be a photocopy, but the signature cannot be typed or electronic.

  •   If you do not bring to your interview the original version of all civil documents submitted to NVC, the consular officer will reschedule your interview.

how do i get the submitted ds260 form?

some one talked about keeping exact change. what is the amount for change?

does it matter if my wife takes interview in english or urdu?

other than that any other experience please share it with me, i want her to be extra prepared so it doesnt go in review.

thanks

You can have the interview in English or Urdu

You will need to bring some money along as it is needed for the bus to travel from the depot to the embassy

For other experience you should read the embassy reviews on this site

you do NOT need a police clearance certificate for ISB
