She’s against all vaccines , and after carefully doing countless research and studying myself on vaccines I completely share her opposition to vaccines .

I don’t remember which vaccines her family members had a bad reaction to .

We’ll see what happens at the interview at the embassy in Moscow .

Thanks for your response !

Timeline

My fiance and her son and daughter just went through this in October.

The embassy does not require the vaccinations for the interview and visa approvals.  As long as they pass the medical exam through IOM in Moscow, then that is all the US embassy needs.

However, the staff at the IOM office and clinic told my fiancee that if they did not get the vaccinations then there visa would be denied - which is a not true.  The IOM makes money from the vaccinations, and that is what they care about.

When we did the interview, the embassy did not have the medical results because her son had a small fever on his TB test followup, so they are making him go through the 6 week sputum test, which is completely unnecessary, but we can't do anything about it but wait.

The embassy approved the visas at the interview, and we are just waiting for the TB test results, and the medical results to be forwarded to the embassy, for the visas to be issued.

Do not worry about not getting the vaccinations, but expect the Russian medical staff to hassle your finacee about it.  We never thought there would be problems with the medical.
