But Americans and Canadians can enter for 90 days without a Visa correct?

Yes. As long as you have a valid US passport, you could spend your Thanksgiving in Paris if you'd like. They won't even make you fill a customs paperwork like CBP does.

No, there is not a special type of visa for people from the Philippines. But it is VERY hard for regular people to get a tourist visa from there.

What do you mean by very hard? Do people refrain from applying because they think they would be automatically denied?

I say that because according to the DOS statistics, in 2016 Philippines B visas had 27% refusal rate (not the best but certainly not the worst) but 100 thousand people was given a B1/B2 visa last year.

On your first link Canada has a refusal rate of almost 48% - Any idea why? That one stood out for me quite quickly.

EDIT:

Vietnam had a refusal rate of 29%, and had ~86,000 visas in the same time period. Very similar numbers.

Most Canadians don't need a B2 to enter the USA. Most Canadians can enter the USA at the border without a B2.  When they have to apply for a B2, there is often an underlying issue that prevents them from entering.

Good point. Canada was only granted like 500 B-1,2 visas according to that data.

Hmm... interesting yes.

Though the 2nd link I shared there shows only 501 Canadians were given B1,2 visas in 2016. Basically 1000 people applied, 500 rejected. Wonder why they even applied, extended visit? or business issues?

A man sat down to write his order to his butcher for his Christmas geese.

He began, "Dear Butcher:  Please send me my Christmas gooses."

He corrected it to "Please send me my Christmas geeses."

Finally, he started all over, and wrote:

P.S.  And while you're at it, add another one."

So what makes you think it is not diverse enough?

Caucasians are roughly about 65% of the USA right now which is significantly less than what it was back in the 1990's. So I think it needs to end.

Caucasians ? Are you basing your "diverse enough" on skin color ?  Just wow.

The rate of non compliance with existing US immigration law has been high in the PI. All high risk countries have similar issues with their citizens getting US tourist visas.

Thatd why they get extra vetting,  because of the risk. Oh wait that's racist isn't it

The main requirment as I understand,  is you have to have reasons to return property, stability, job, cash in the bank etc
