Letter from employer

My HR simply wrote a letter to Wom It May Concern and referenced to my employee statment. They listed my name and date of birth, who I worked for and when I started, my position and my hourly salary. This was all written on the letter head for the agency, I work for a government agency.

Here is a sample I created based on the letter i got

Mine said position, salary(yearly), date of hire, type of employee(full time). My HR rep also left her phone number for more info.

just a side note...it is fine if the employer letter does not have your date of birth, as it is illegal in most cases (if not all) to ask an employee what his/her date of birth is.
