President Trump tweeted about the hacked emails of then-Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta approximately 15 minutes after WikiLeaks requested his son Donald Trump Jr. to, a reporter for The Wall Street Journal pointed out Monday, based on reporting from The Atlantic.

The Atlantic reported earlier Monday that Trump Jr. engaged in private correspondence with the transparency site during the 2016 campaign, and that WikiLeaks made multiple requests of him.

 

 

"Strongly suggest your dad tweets this link if he mentions us,” WikiLeaks wrote in a message to Trump Jr. on Oct. 12, 2016, including a link.

“There’s many great stories the press are missing and we’re sure some of your follows [sic] will find it,” WikiLeaks continued. “Btw we just released Podesta Emails Part 4.”

Trump Jr. confirmed he turned over the messages in three separate tweets where he linked the back and forth exchange with WikiLeaks.

Trump Jr.’s lawyers have given the messages to congressional investigators, according to The Atlantic report.

WikiLeaks messaged Trump Jr. repeatedly, and many times did not receive a response.

Uhoh!  This is definitely going to bring Trump down.  I can't imagine him avoiding jail for this.  He'll be impeached by Christmas for sure!

Was there anything in the Wikileaks information that wasn’t true?  I mean it is not like hiring a foreign agent to create a salacious dossier that has been proven false.

It is ok for democrats to "conduct opposition research" by paying foreign spies to pay other foreign spies for made-up/false information, but nobody else is allowed to talk to anyone who might have dirt on an opposing candidate.  

 

I'm looking forward to the new Justice Department investigation into the Clinton Crime Syndicate and the Uranium One scandal.

Yes there were some altered emails, those would not be true.

 

Is it curious that an anonymous foreign source asks DTjr to do something and in 15 minutes DJT tweets about it?
