I did a quick search, but didn't find "exactly" what I was looking for.  I assume that a K1 visa MUST be "issued" prior to the expiration date on the NOA2,  however, I wanted to know, does the fiancée NEED to make port in the US ALSO before the Expiration date on the NOA2, or is there more time allotted after the K1 visa is issued? 

 

Thanks folks!  Been super busy but still like to come on and read things about others!

The fiance must enter the US prior to the expiration date on the VISA itself.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Our NOA2 expired November 8, 2017 )1 yr from date issued) because medical exam needs to be repeated secondary to long period of AP. But it just showed updated Nov 13, 2017.  I heard that as long as there is update regularly with the process, it will not necessarily expire. Am I right?
