Hi,

Does anyone have a list of required vaccinations that a USCIS doctor will check at the i-693.

I have quite a few, but trying to get them all sorted via insurance before I head to the screening.

Thank you.

Personally, I looked at the list of vaccination in I-693 and called the place I planned to get my exam at. They may say that the doctor has to determine during the exam though.

It varies based on age and I was able to skip Varicella, because I told the doctor I had chicken pox in the past. But, other place I called said they required a titer to proof my immunity.

I'm in my early 20s and I needed Tdap, MMR, and Flu shot (because I submitted my application this month - only required Oct - Mar)

You could try to refer to the chart here:

Side note, the most convenient location to get them is pharmacy (I went to Walgreens), but my insurance won't cover MMR in pharmacy, so I had to pay a $25 co-pay to get it done at my primary care.

You can get immunization anywhere else as long as you can show the proof of receiving the immunization.

Edit: Only required if you don't have proof of ever receiving the immunization. Except flu shot where it must be current (i.e. you can't use flu shot received last year)

@ColoradoBeauty: I'm running in a similar boat as you. I was vaccinated when a toddler for B.C.G (possible cause for the TB Skin test coming in as +ve - however, when I came to the US for school in Fall 2011, they did the skin test and found it -ve), DTP, MMR, OBV (polio). I also received the Meningococcal vaccine since it was a requirement for my University (have records). The rest of the vaccines, I just don't recall if I have had shots etc...and guessing a few of these are age appropriate...

Wondering how you were able to get other vaccinations at a local pharmacy?

With local pharmacy, it's a walk-in, with no appointment required as long as they have the vaccine in stock.

However, I'm using my insurance coverage to pay for it and for certain vaccine they will only pay if given at a doctor office. Your local pharmacy should be able to check your coverage before giving the vaccine if you're trying to use one,
