That is the interesting thing about this whole case.  Pedophiles are notorious for never being able to be, for lack of a better word, changed.  If Moore is a pedophile, where are the reports more current than 30-40 years ago?

It's hard for victims to come forward, because they have to relive their experience, and be subjected to negative criticism. We still live in a society where many believe the victims have played some part, and have some responsibility over that befell upon them.

 

That there aren't recent victims doesn't make him any less of a pedophile. 

 

In fact, we should be questioning his character, considering that he lied on camera saying he didn't know one of the victims nor the restaurant where she worked, when he clearly did. Any credibility he sough went out of the window with this lie - and his victim had proof of his lying.

Well based on what we know Weiner was sexting an underage girl. Roy Moore possibly groped some.

 

That being said, Weiner is facing prison time and is no longer in politics. The same should occur for Roy Moore.

I am yet to understand how Weiner seems to justify Moore, in the minds of the MDR/MOR. I thought their so-called moral values to be absolute, which isn't obviously the case. Unable to objectively look at Moore as the pedophile he is, they seem to need to refer to other morally-equivalent individuals, as a means to reconcile their inability to be critical about Moore.

The rightwing blog The Gateway Pundit pushed a single-sourced rumor from an anonymous Twitter account, @Umpire43, claiming that one of Roy Moore’s accusers was offered $1,000 by The Washington Post to go public with her claims.

That rumor quickly made its way to InfoWars and the top of r/The_Donald, the most active pro-Trump community on the web. The pro-Trump cable station One America News Network even aired the news, citing a “report.”

But the source for that viral accusation is a serial fabulist who has been using the identity of a Navy serviceman who died in 2007, records show.

Umpire43, also known as Doug Lewis or DJ Lewis, has repeatedly invented stories in the past—particularly about his own background. Lewis said he was a 22-year veteran of the Navy, a pollster at Ipsos/Reuters, an expert on rigging voting machines, a source who was feet away from Reince Preibus, a man who speaks six languages, a beleaguered soul who needed time off after the 9/11 attacks when he saw Muslims “dancing on rooftops,” the owner of a polling company who claimed Trump had a sustained lead in California, and an actual baseball umpire with 50 years experience. Oh, and he worked at the American consulate in Calgary, where he claimed to obtain proof of a forged birth certificate for Ted Cruz’s father.

The Daily Beast spoke with each of the institutions and companies at which he claimed to be affiliated or employed. None of Umpire43’s employment or service claims are true, these organizations said.

If Roy Moore is proven guilty and some statue has not run out I agree. He was a DA and more than anyone should have known better.

No one has justified Moore. I have pointed our the hypocrisy of those that defended Clinton , Wierner etc while condemning  Moore and honestly anyone that would defend Moore and critize Wierner and Clinton.

Who here ever defended Weiner? That dude was a creeper.

 

The issue here will never be whether he gets prosecuted. The cases were too long ago.

 

It is about whether he deserves a political position. The answer to that is clearly no. Yet there are several hold outs.
