Fox News’s Sean Hannity is getting support from Russian-linked social media accounts after they began amplifying a protest by the American far right against Keurig coffee machines when the company pulled advertising from Hannity’s show.

Keurig is among five companies that removed ads from Fox's Hannity over the weekend following his coverage of sexual misconduct allegations against Roy Moore, who is running for U.S. Senate in Alabama.

Hannity defended Moore last week and suggested his accuser—who claims she was 14 at the time of the incident when Moore was 32—could be lying. Accuser Leigh Corfman’s account that Moore made sexual advances on her has been confirmed by her mother and an ex-boyfriend who she told about the incident. The allegations were first reported by The Washington Post, which cited three other women who said Moore pursued them when they were in their teens.

“So, there’s politics in all of this. Then you have false allegations that are made, and you know—how do you determine? It’s “He said, she [said],” Hannity said on his radio show last Thursday. “I just—I don’t know how you find out the truth.”

On Twitter the hashtag #BoycottKeurig is now number one in overall hashtags promoted by 600 accounts connected to Russian influence efforts tracked by the German Marshall Fund. The hashtag #standwithannity and the variant #istandwithhannity, #boycottkeurig, and #keurig are among the top trending hashtags promoted by these accounts.

I'd call them Rubbots but I think the name has been trademarked already.

Someone should fire Hannity and put him out of his misery.

the thing is who is going to want to advertise on Fox?  If you quit it's like the mob, they will hunt you down and break your legs.

Silly kids. Sounds like they need a safe space against the free market at work.

I like my Aeropress myself rather than overpriced cheap coffee grounds in wasteful containers.

I have the reusable filters for my Keurig and they work great! I have to say, I used to think a Keurig was going to make only terrible coffee but then 1) I realized that GIGO, so I buy decent beans and grind them fresh; and 2) I needed an even faster caffeine delivery system than my French press on weekday mornings. Plus it was a gift from my beloved Mr U for Christmas, and I wasn't going to say no.

How quick do you really need?

I have a combined Grinder/Espresso machine with a steaming wand. I grind coffee, make a double shot espresso and then add hot water in about 1 minute. If i want a flat white/latte add another minute for the steamed milk. Maybe another 30 seconds for clean up (empty/rinsing the portafilter, cleaning the wand, wiping down the device).

When do you really have less than 2 1/2 minutes in the morning? I'd say if you need to be that much quicker, you need to just wake up 2 minutes earlier.

My husband is a lover of electric kettles, whereas I was raised on the old fashioned stove kettle and a coffee machine. But with an electric kettle + aeropress my coffee is made very fast, as is his tea, without the need of having a large machine that sounds like it's going to explode every time you use it (plus.. those things are a hotbed of mold and very difficult to clean).

When my wife and I first started dating I went out and get a stove top kettle prior to her first visit to the US (We originally were dating in Thailand). Knowing she was English and loved tea I figured it was a "must have" to make a "proper cup".

I remember when she saw it her first comment was "Oh, we always just use an electric kettle. It's so much faster." I think she also ended up saying "Oh but I love it, we'll still use it" or something like that to make me feel better.

Now, 4 years later, that kettle was destroyed last week when we actually forgot about it and for some reason it didn't make the loud boiling noise. The water all boiled out, and the inside of the kettle essentially caught fire (Not really sure how it happened). We were in the next room so we smelled burning. We probably could have salvaged it with a thorough cleaning if we wanted to...

We now have a brand new electric kettle :)

The Keurig is not hot enough to make the coffee I like.  I am strictly a Moccamaster fan for drip and nespresso for shots. You have to try the Moccamaster.
