this is a very negative comment and not meant to demean anyone but something to think about please

i moved from the north to the south knowing when we did it i would not be able to attend every wedding and funeral and hospital visits when family is ill

this spring my mom was in Pa and passed away / only could go see her twice and now 2 cousins passed away this week

family in NY will attend funeral there to represent all of us and i will go to the one in Nashville in place of all who can not attend

moving means you miss things as you are not with family anymore

we have to accept it

and please this is not meant to insult / just it is the what happens in life

my husband knows he can not fly to Ecuador for every family emergency / huge family

and it will be only for those very very important issues to do with his parents that will take him home

also wonder how people can leave home (caring for home with USC if a woman) or a job for that length of time

3 days for a funeral at most jobs and 2 week vacation?????? isn't that the way it has always been for USC
