My wife send in our AOS documents to the NVC and our scan date was 3rd November. She was told that we have to wait for 11 weeks for them to review it and for us to get a case completed notification, so I want to know did we have to wait for 11 weeks or the case can be completed earlier before their estimated time frame and anybody with NVC experience on case completed stage.

The Tax Transcript my wife submitted to the NVC for our supporting documents for AOS was 2014, 2015 and 2016 all filed as HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD but we got married in 2016 before she filed for her 2016 tax year. Is it a problem she doesn't filed as Married in her 2016 tax year or we're okay.

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Please don't pay attention to the 11 weeks but be accurate with the documentation sent from the check list

The NVC call center will not provide any information they are programmed robots. But I will say we waited 7 weeks and 3 days for their response to our case. We had submitted a registrate of birth record instead of the actual birth certificate.  Next submission took another 7 weeks. Our file was accepted on 11/8/17 now awaiting our interview date in Lagos

I say a prayer for all who are going through this process. It is very painful and stressing waiting on your loved ones to join you.
