Forget all that, what you need is some good ole frybread ! :P

What's that???? Like cornbread? I ordered an Egyptian cookbook from Amazon that I have never even removed the wrapping from :( I don't know what I will do!!! My fiance says don't worry about it he will cook, but I don't know....

yeah.. my husband said that too.. until I found out the only thing he knows is how to fry potatoes in Oil.. My MIL has him spoiled rotten... ya rab

The only thing my husband knows how to do is heat up the bread and make tea.

MENZ!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I really enjoyed this posting - you guys make life a little easier when emotions are crazy! Or maybe that is the point - crazy to counteract crazy! Anyways thanks - needed a few laughs!

The stovetop is the best way to warm up pita bread. I've been doing that for years. It doesn't get hard like when you put it in the microwave. If you have an electric stove you can heat the oven and stick it in there for a minute.

I get the mini pitas from Trader Joe's and then I use my toaster, lowest setting to just warm them up, higher setting if I want a bit of a crispiness outside.

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

Well, not having a gas stove at home, I've found that it works just fine to warm them up in the microwave. I put a container with some water in there to keep them from getting hard . . . they get hard because all the moisture gets sucks out of them. Alternatively, you can put them between wet paper towels! I soften up lots of things in the microwave by using water.

On the other hand, I needed bread crumbs for a recipe the other night . . . heheheh, the first time I ever tried drying some bread to quickly made the crumbs and it didn't exactly work out like I planned! Hopefully, the next time I will remember to leave the bread out sooner to dry it or buy some!
