well, you can always google it you know. You can not always think Vjers here to know every answer to every question. Relax.

You relax. I was half-way joking. Secondly, I did read it somewhere online and cannot remember where I saw it, that is why I posted it here. Nevermind, someone pmed me with instructions. It is truly not that serious. Anyway thanks Doodle and Moody and "J"

Native American frybread

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I will have to send you the recipe . We don't like sharing our traditional secrets in a public forum. :hehe:

no kidding every morning my husband would lay that bread over the gas stove and let the fire heat it up and burn it just a bit and then I'd put jelly on top of it. YUM!! So maybe the blowtorch is a substitute if you only have an electric stove top like me?

Try using the dried prairie grass. It helps ignite a better fire. Get you a big kettle and be sure all remenants of priests ( we call em ' French Friars' ) from a previous meal has been washed clean. Add you a generous smitten of buffalo grease and you should be good to go.
