Yes like here in America, go to the mall to look at the items you want then buy online :D

Abenson has stores in all the malls, as does Automatic Centre and one other but the name is slipping my mind right now.

I look at stuff online/Lazada to get an idea what I want, then head to the mall many times.  Still there is no easy way to bargain with any of them.

Some things are impossible to fine except on Lazada

My experience with Philippines TV is that the signals are so bad that the pictures suck anyway!!!  LOL

I am guessing that the Samsung will have a better picture though.

Indeed, unless you are hooking up to a good HD signal or a Blu-ray, it's not worth paying extra just for a brand name.  Neither which are common in the Phils.  On top of that, the TV won't be calibrated which means you won't get the most out of it in any case.  All things being equal, Samsung most likely would have a better picture, but IMO this is a case of diminishing returns.

Do they have 4K in Philippines?

I enjoy watching some Netflix shows in 4K, and also watch YouTube show and videos in 4K

You better hope for an "amazing" internet package if you want to stream movies in 4K... let along just stream YT at all.

PLDT and Globe do have internet packages with good bandwidth but not available in all areas

I have seen some guys bragging about upload/download speed in Philippines last few months. Yes in the past internet speed was horrible.

I get upwards of 70MB down and 16MB up over SMART using a Huawei 593-22 with my home network, that isn't the issue... no bandwidth.  Only get 24GB per month ... MONTH.  But like said both PLDT & Globe do offer package with upwards of 100MB down and serious bandwidth of 1TB/mo .  1TB is adequate for streaming 4k and watching YT all month long.

Internet is one of the things that I just can't get a handle on there.  The business model is terrible.  There is so much money to be made and such poor coverage and quality.  The switching of sims (and phone numbers) depending on location is crazy.  Smart is better in Pateros but Globe is better in Las Pinas.  That means paying for data from 2 companies and switching sims for connectivity.  I cannot wait to see what AJ and Aira think about the data in the states. My cell gets 40 down and 4 up.  At home I get 180 down and 23 up!  They are going to cry.  They were getting around 500k on their cell phones and nothing at home.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!
