Fortunately, he has not been competent enough to get any part of his agenda through Congress,  I am guessing we are safe.

    I'm not sure anyone was ever worried about the economy being "ruined" in one year.  Take Reaganomics for example.  Some people called it out as snake oil at the time. For many, it took years for people to realize just how bad Reaganomics stinked. The big picture finally developed though. Of course, a few people still haven't figured it out.  

 

    Reacting to day to day articles is just that. Reacting. Watch for the big picture.

my point in posting the chart is to say there is no rhyme or reason between he actions of the stock market and the first year of a Presidents tenure

  There are other options beside "full out socialist" and the trickle down ponzi scheme. 

 

  It's a poor argument when the only defense of supply side economics is that it's better than socialism.

Yeah I get that. And I'll add - there is no connection between the president, any president, and the stock market, any year, period. I just thought I would point out that internally, which is something the masses don't get to see on CNBC, Fox Business or Bloomberg it's looking very grim.
