Hi Guys!

I have a question about travelling with Advance Parole when AOS case is pending.

I am in US since August ( K1 visa ) with my daughter ( K2 visa holder). I files AOS/EPD and AP on 27OCT and now received NOA.

On my APP form I put the infromation I would like to travel on 21DEC to my homecountry ( for Christmas time) . The main reason is I want my daughter to meet her father after 4 months.

I am pretty sure I will not have AP granted before that time as it shows online it should be granted at the end of January.

But also I have many other reasons I need to go to my homecounrty ( my daughter doctor visit, vaccinations, etc etc.)

It is not really emergency but still all planned long time ago and all very important to me.

I would like to use InfoPass and go to USCIS local office to ask for AP ( as emergency).

Do you think it will be accepted? Is only death/health reasons terated as an emergency?

If it is possible - what prooves I need to bring to my appointment?

Thanks a lot for your thoughts!

Sorry, but I don't think you will be granted for that. It is not an emergency case

Ditto.  I don't think a really expensive doctors visit comes close to being a valid emergency.  Expensive because there are many doctors here who can give the proper vaccines.  So USCIS will essential see this as you wanting a Christmas vacation.  Be fully prepared for USCIS to say no and plan your Christmas accordingly.  It's going to take a Christmas Miracle to get a yes on this one.
