Is fiance's birth certificate required for I-129F petition...confused?

We did the petition with lawyer and he did not ask for my birth certificate. the only thing lawyer ask from me is (2) passport photos recently. We are june fillers (and not news yet)

when i found this forum, i was happy, because a lot of people were really helpful and caring, but i also panicked a lot, because we sent the minimum requirements to USCIS, while others here shared like they sent a box of proofs, long letters how they have met, ugh, etc... i couldt sleep of thinking what all we could send that others did, but our lawyer secured us and explain everything what uscis cared the most. 

So please dont panick about everything you read that others did, you can always call uscis or check their websites,  panick after and send them additional documents- it shouldt affect delay.

I just told my fiance this the other day. I'm not sure if I want to go into deep snooping on this site for answers or kinda keep my distance because on one hand it is extremely helpful and there's so many people willing to help guide you but on the other hand sometimes answers can be misleading being every case is different. One thing that is freaking me out so much is seeing the May 2017 filers thread and just how long it's taking all of them to receive their NO2's. I have read everywhere else it's roughly only suppose to be 100 days wait for that but then you see all these people talking about they're close to 200 days with no word. That is truly frightening. I just keep telling myself I know for a fact this time next year we will finally be together for good and at least we are on our way but I'm really, really hoping that it doesn't take that long.

K1 is taking much longer than it has.  CR1 also is taking much longer.

Yeah, I know. It's horrible. I really hope it picks up soon. Either they just had A LOT of people file in May like more than usual or they got really backed up...probably from me under staffed.

Acccording to what i read there was like 700,000 applications from just before and just after trump got elected people trying to beat immigration laws and price increases.

Yep, the same here. everyones case is different and also country where you are from matters. Some countries needs more proofs and gets more rfe than others. 

I think that Murph is right. Since trump is the american CEO, some people try to beat the immigration laws, and dollar curency too. It never been lower. I hate i cant go shopping right now, all would be for free with such exchange rate.
