Social security number and card

Once my fiancé arrives here in the US is it best to get married within the 90 days or get her social security number and card first? Thank you all for your help. Charles

SSN card first with her maiden name and an update after marriage if she will change her last name   That’s the smoothest way.

Do both - as previous poster noted get ssn first and then make sure you marry within the 90 days as required by the fiancé visa, otherwise you have to fill in extra paperwork that costs more money.

if so, try to marry before end of this year so she can be included on tax returns
